Lighting the path for tribal communities through research, reach, and resolve

Sarva Vikas Deep began its journey after a detailed three-year identification and mapping study conducted in the most underdeveloped regions of Raigad district. The study revealed that tribal communities were the most marginalized, with a significant number falling under the Below Poverty Line category.

Based on extensive field research, 120 villages were identified for potential intervention. After careful deliberation, 80 villages — covering approximately 20,000–25,000 people — were selected as SVD's primary development area. The remaining 40 villages were taken up by our partner NGO, Amardeep.
