Summer Camp Empowers 180 Khatkari Children Across 25 Villages

Sarva Vikas Deep, Mangaon, successfully organized a two-day summer camp on 22nd and 23rd April 2026 for children from the Mangaon block of Raigad district. A total of 180 children participated in the camp, making it a joyful and enriching experience for all.
The camp began with lively ice-breaking games that helped the children interact freely and build confidence. This was followed by a variety of fun-filled group activities such as balloon-breaking, bucket games, dodge the ball, and dance sessions. These activities not only entertained the children but also encouraged teamwork and physical fitness.
The camp also included meaningful learning sessions focused on life skills. Children were introduced to financial literacy, leadership development, and the responsible use of social media, helping them understand both its benefits and potential risks.
Sports and physical activities were conducted throughout the camp, along with engaging group games that ensured active participation from all children. The entire program was well-coordinated, with smooth management of activities, food, and overall arrangements.
A special highlight of the camp was a visit to a water park, where the children enjoyed swimming and dancing. It was a new and exciting experience that brought immense joy to the participants.
The camp concluded on a happy note, with children sharing their observations and experiences. They returned home with new skills, joyful memories, and stronger friendships.
